Hair Fitness® was created from the ruins of my own hair. At the age of 15, my long, beautiful hair was destroyed by a hairdresser who left bleach on too long. My three remaining years in high school I wore a wig to cover my broken, brittle, split and dry hair. Following my high school graduation, I was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident that crippled me for many years. Over three dozen reconstructive surgeries left me and my hair in a very frail state. Fortunately, I was raised by a health conscious family who introduced me to a world of natural solutions. I realized at a young age that my health problems were opportunities in disguise that not only was of benefit to me but to many others as well.

My college education centered around special education children. My years spent on crutches, in wheelchairs and in bandages as a disabled person altered my perspective on life. My devotion at this time was to take a disadvantaged child and give them the best nutrition possible for the greatest chance in life to learn and live. The results were amazing. Through my college years I worked as a legal investigator helping others who, like me, had been through traumatizing accidents and ended up in our court and medical systems. I also began a serious quest to find the answer to regain the beautiful hair I last had at 15.

I discovered that hair health was a combination of internal and external factors both requiring high amounts of what hair is made up of. It worked. My hair at 25 was responding beautifully. I threw my wig in a drawer and enjoyed having long, pretty hair once again.

It didn't take long for another hair disaster. My adventurous spirit led me to sail around the world. My hair was styled in cornrows for easy cleaning. What nobody realized was that it would tangle and mat creating dreadlocks as the hair grew out. After a few months, it was obvious it had to be cut off from the scalp. In three months, most of my hair was gone again. After seven years at sea, my hair was a wreck.

When I returned to America, I had the opportunity to run the operating room of a very famous plastic surgeon in Los Angeles. One of the first operative procedures I saw was a coronal lift which exposes the scalp layers. Men had thicker galeas (the membrane from the forehead extending to the crown) as they get older thereby restricting circulation and causing them to lose hair. My interest in hair now encompassed how men could overcome their hair problems.

Becoming founder and president of a company to solve hair problems was never my conscious intention, but fate wove its web. Today the solution to just about every hair problem and every hair type imaginable is on the web or in your local health food store for your benefit. For nearly 10 years now, I have experienced the amazing joy of overcoming my own hair problems and watching thousands of others do the same (see testimonials).

At 47 years of age, my hair is now Four Feet Long, still bleached with the same formula I've always used, with no breakage or split ends!
